Michael DeMicheleMichael DeMichele is a well-known professional player in the poker arena. He belongs to the town of East Haven in Connecticut State. DeMichele was an excellent live player and has adequate experience playing poker. He began playing poker right from the tender age of eighteen.  DeMichele’s maiden $10K contest was at the age of twenty one. Initially at the Turning Stone casino, DeMichele played the 1/2nl event, then the 20/40 limit holdem event, and then shifted to the realm of poker. At the Foxwoods, he began playing high stake live cash contests

He started with eight tabling 3/6 limit holdem and finally developed into the 15/30 & 30/60 making a decent sized bankroll. DeMichele also learned to play the Stud8b and the Omaha8b. Once he learnt the variants of poker, the Stud 8b and Omaha8b became his most preferred game. He went on to advance into the 75/150 OE games, as he found the 10/25nl as very small games, when he desired to play. His first major poker triumph was in the United States Poker Championship Main Event, held in 2006. He secured the third slot gaining $215,194. From then onwards he has cashed in a few WSOP (World Series of Poker) contests and he had big triumphs in the contests he had hard cashed in.

The two events he cashed in the WSOP were neither in the NL Holdem. However what will astonish you is DeMichele’s take on the online poker.

DeMichele’s biggest conclusion was in the year 2008, at the fifty thousand dollar H.O.R.S.E world championship, where he completed runner-up to Scotty Nguyen making $1,243,200.  In this event he faced a poker arena of 147 elite participants, many of them having affluent knowledge in the high stakes games such as Phil Ivey., Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, Howard Lederer, and David Benyamine.

Subsequent to four demanding play days, DeMichele made his way to the final table next to the victors of the WSOP bracelets like Erick Lindgren, Lyle Berman, Barry Greenstein, Huck Seed and Scotty Nguyen. Once defeating Lyle Berman on the razz hand, Michele acquired 7.1 million chip lead only to give up to Scotty Nguyen in the course of the four-handed contest.

In the Previous $10,000 World Championship Mixed Event, DeMichele managed to get the fourth slot and made $139,872.

Darrel DickenDarrell Dicken is a well known poker players, popularly known as “gigabet”, the name he uses while playing poker online. He was born in Waterloo and shifted to the casino city, Vegas, in pursuit of his poker playing ambitions.

Darrell started playing poker online and soon realized that he could excel in the game substantially. He started participating in a lot of tournaments right from the beginning of his poker career. His love for poker dates back to a long time and thus he is continuously trying to better his own records and thus sharpen his poker playing skills. There is no doubt that he has a lot of accomplishments to his name and he has managed to pocket significant money from this game.

Maxim Lykov

Maxim Lykov, born in Russia, had a competitive streak running in him since his childhood. He completed his education in his home country and in Moscow University studied engineering. Maxim played poker with friends during his college days. He mastered his poker skills by playing often on internet and eventually in the year 2005 he chose to play poker over engineering.

Maxim’s career in poker began with two $40 deposits into his poker accounts. He could take those small investments and casual play and eventually six figures. By the end of 2006, he was doing very well in cash games and tournaments and making a substantial living from his online career in poker.

No sooner did 2009 arrive, than Lykov decided to begin playing the live poker tournament circuit. Less than three weeks later, he attended the ‘Read Sea poker Cup’ series on Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt and got himself placed 16th in €1, 1000 buy-in NLHE Main Event. But in the same Red Sea Poker Cup, two days later, he played the €3,000 buy-in NLHE VIP event and won it, which brought him his first poker title and €50,000 cash.

Feeling elated about his ability to play live poker with flair, Lykov went ahead to Las Vegas, Nevada in the summer of 2009 to play World Series of Poker events, and it was then and there where he realized that he had made it to the final table of the $5,000 no-limit hold’em shootout tournament, ultimately finishing in third place for $145,062. A broader audience had started taking notice of the young Russian Pro.

He finished 2009 with a ninth place in an EPT Prague side event, and then began 2010 with a trip to the Bahamas for the PokerStars, Caribbean Adventure. He, then stored another big victory when he won the $1,000 buy-in NLHE event for a clean $100,000. And then in March, he made another astonishing win at an EPT event in Hinterglemm, Austria at the Snowfest tournament when he finished 13th in the €3,500 buy-in Main Event for €15,800.

This young pro poker player has been noted in many interviews that he plans to be the topmost and the best poker to ever hail from Russia and he is right on the track to accomplishing that goal, as he is already in the top ten of all Russian players on the live circuit. Maxim Lykov has also been recognized by the PokerStars and very recently has become of the latest addition to Team PokerStars Pro, which is now allowing him to represent the site around the world and online at the tables, playing underneath his novel, actual and complete name.
